Francine Lancaster Harvey was Annabelle Lancaster Gowling's only sibling.

Francine was born January 12, 1860 and died January 17, 1916 at age 56.  She married Harold Harvey in March of 1878 at age 18. After the birth of their two children, shown here, Harold left the family on a merchant ship to America. Francine was left to care for the children with the help of her sister Annabelle.

It is believed that the oldest child, Frank Jefferson Harvey, died in 1890 at age 10 by falling into a coal mine, but others say that he was kidnapped by a relative of their father's. No one is sure what happened. The youngest son, Jeremiah Moses Harvey, was born on June 6, 1885, and died on August 10, 1950.
